La legge Hadopi (o three strikes law) che prevede il distacco della connessione Internet per i condivisori di conoscenza e cultura libera (quanto sono filosofico) non ha passato la votazione all'assemblea nazionale

Individual liberties, in the end, have not been sacrificed to try to preserve the corporate interests of some obsolete industries. The HADOPI law has been interred earlier than expected" states Jérémie Zimmermann, co-founder and spokesperson of La Quadrature du Net.
Ora rimane da attuare una qualche forma di ritorsione contro Facebook, che ha censurato i link di The Pirate Bay.
